I have taken my pups to the folks here since about 2008. I recently moved back to the area and couldn’t ask for better veterinarians, front desk staff, techs, and clinic manager! I brought my 9 year old Border Collie (a Search and Rescue K9) as an emergency walk-in yesterday because she suddenly started feeling really poorly. The clinic was able to get her in and triaged right away. Dr. Caffey was thorough and took his time to explain his approach and recommendations and to answer the questions I had. We followed up today with Dr. Counts and the vet techs who took such good care of my girl. I’m very grateful to have these folks for such consistent and quality veterinary care!

We’ve been taking our dogs to CC for many years now 🧡 I really appreciate how helpful & kind the desk staff is, and how ready to help with prescriptions & questions they are. They’re always so nice, and always answer the phone during business hrs, and follow up quickly, which isn’t the case for a lot of the other vets! AND in the last few years, we’ve had our 2 oldest dogs euthanized, after many years of good treatment at CC, and it was done with such compassion and love by Dr Counts and her techs, I’ll always be SO grateful. And our 2 younger dogs have had wonderful experiences with Dr Counts and Dr Clodius and everyone there. The Dr’s and staff here are thoughtful and smart, and I feel like they really consider treatment options and the best thing for every animal.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet! I’ve been coming here since 2022 when I moved to NM – I’m not as close but I still make the drive here. I’m so thankful to have a home vet that I’m so satisfied with, where I feel like my dogs are so well looked after. I’ve been to many many vets all around the US and not only have I received some of the best care here the prices are incredibly reasonable. Recently, my 15 year old chi has been experiencing a progression of his heart conditions and while this is very sensitive for me everyone has been incredibly supportive and kind. It’s appreciated more than y’all know.
Dr. Janeen is who I’ve seen most – she’s always up front and honest about their care and what my best options are. Josh is always willing to help when there’s a clerical issue with something or another. Dr. Nuria, who I’ve just met recently, is the most informative and patient provider I’ve ever met, especially with my old man’s issues lately – I’m very thankful for her. All of the office staff work diligently and stay kind no matter how busy they get and all of the techs handle my pets like they were their own.
If only my dogs didn’t dislike going so much 😅

Every person we met here was full of compassion. When it’s time to give your 4-legged family members rest, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Not only were they kind and understanding from the start to finish, but the price was amazing. The services include a free urn, and the overall experience made a normally difficult situation slightly less painful. My mom recommended this place, my aunt to her. I took a dear friend for her precious babies, and when the time comes for mine, I’ll be coming back here. A short drive from Albuquerque to Tijeras, and you’ll find Crossroads.
I know they offer other services, not just euthanasia. It’s worth the drive. The love and care they show are absolutely worth the drive.

We are so thankful for Canyon Crossroads! The staff has provided amazing care for our fur babies, from routine checkups and vaccines to surgeries and teeth extractions, and helping our family dog cross the rainbow bridge when it was his time.
